Galilea Narez

Galilea Narez is a songwriter, composer, and sound designer from Salinas California, who began performing and writing songs from the age of 12. By the age of 17 Galilea has been in 3 bands ranging from genres in pop, rock, jazz, and norteño. She furthered her education by attending audio school, obtained an associates in music production and is currently getting a bachelors in audio production. Being a lover of the artistic world, she enjoys diving deep into the world of sound in music and film. Her personal work in songwriting and composition is another form of story telling curated through personal experiences. Alongside her love for film, she is able to bring an audience into a different world with eerie and in-your-face sounds in genres ranging from horror to adventure. By creating immersive scores and sound designs she is able to access her creative and adventurous side by taking inspiration from her mexican culture and wide range of indie or favorite popular films. Her cinematic pop and curiosity for the uncanny brings a different element to the table in the studio and out.Their fierce personality and hard work ethic comes from core values of building relationships with your work to create quality. From working in a studio to get an immersive surround mix to being outside collecting unimaginable sounds to recreate an every day or peculiar sound for a film she hopes to continue her future in telling stories through sound.
